Carrots are amazing for those who deal with hypertension and are amazing for diabetics due to its richness in antioxidants. Fresh carrot juice is always better that eating the vegetable raw because juices’ nutrient concentration is higher.

- 3-4 tbsp organic honey
- 1/2 kg carrots
Method of preparation:
Peel the carrots and cut them into chunks. Boil until they become soft. Strain the carrots and save the liquid they were cooked in. Now, let the blender to its job with the carrot chunks.
Add 3-4 tablespoons of honey in the water that the carrots were cooked in and stir. Then, add the carrot purée. Your homemade cough syrup is done so, make sure you store it in cold place.
Take 3-4 tablespoons of the remedy per day and you should feel the difference in a day or two.
